A new video series called “Sustainability: Water” has just been released from NBC News’ educational arm, NBC Learn, and the National Science Foundation (NSF). The seven-part series looks at the Earth’s water cycle and challenges to water sustainability in key regions of the U.S.
According to a spokesperson:
Each video features an NSF-supported scientist from some of the world’s top universities and institutions explaining a specific challenge and how these challenges are affecting our country. These videos aim to help advance public understanding of water sustainability and the effect that human activity and climate variability has on the distribution system. NBC and the NSF hope to raise awareness and spark dialogue about managing the water system and conserving Earth’s most precious resource.
